A love affair with ribbons and bows. That's how it all started.

Well, it actually started in the little west Texas town of Abilene in 1981, but by 1984, I was hoarding ribbons and tying bows on every neighborhood dog. A charmed childhood made up of a creative family, plenty of travel, and a desire to tell my story through pictures led me to prop styling. After receiving a BFA in Art History and Painting and studying fashion at the Polimoda Institut in Florence, a stroke of luck handed me the opportunity to hone my eye and edit my skills in New York while working as a Style Editor for Martha Stewart Weddings. My education continued, as I helped lead the creation of BHLDN, a bridal concept from the Urban Outfitters Corporation. I headed west to Los Angeles and become a freelance stylist in 2011, where I worked on movies and tv shows as a Design Consultant and Florist. Most recently, I opened a boutique heirloom embroidery store with my mom and sister called The Loveliest, in Dallas, Texas. I still tie bows on everything.
